Born in Camden, NJ, Joanna is a member of Christian Faith Assembly under the pastoral leadership of Apostle Dr. Maurice Randolph. While she has attended this church since birth; it was at the age of 19, that the faith she was raised in became her own.
God has given her a heart for young people. This passion has led her to be active both within and beyond the church walls. At Christian Faith Assembly, she started as a volunteer with the children's church around the age of 15. Since that time, she has gone to work teaching youth bible study, vacation bible school and our teen church, #theSpot. Outside of church, she has worked for Covenant House homeless youth shelters in New York City and Philadelphia; Metro World Child's Sidewalk Sunday School in Brooklyn, NY; the Uniquely You Summit, and other organizations.
After graduating from high school, she went on to earn a Bachelors of Arts in Communications with a minor in Africana Studies from Rowan University. Joanna answered the call to ministry, completing CFA's Ministers in Training program in July 2014.
Her life verse is Psalms 118:17 "I shall not die; but live, and declare the works of the Lord."
