Rev. Dr. Joan Mitchell

 Senior Pastor

Rev, Dr. Joan Tabourne Mitchell was born into the family of God in September of 1966, at Refuge Pentecostal Church in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.  She was under the pastorate of the late Elder Thelma Richey for eleven (11) years.  Presently, she is a member of Christian Faith Assembly Church in Hainesport, New Jersey, under the pastorate of Apostle Dr. Maurice Randolph, Sr., where she is a Senior Elder.
 
Dr. Mitchell is the wife of John Harvey Mitchell; the mother of four (4) children, and the grandmother of thirteen (13) grandchildren.  She is a Registered Nurse of forty-four (44) years and has worked in management and administration most of her career.
 
Dr. Mitchell received her ministerial education at Jameson School of Ministry and graduated in 1993.  She furthered her education by attending Jameson Christian College and graduated with a Bachelor and Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies.  Because of her love for the Word, and her thirst for knowledge, she continued her education at International Christian University of Chesapeake Virginia, graduating with her Doctorate in Theological Studies, in 1998.
 
Dr. Mitchell presently serves in her church as:  Director of Education for the Ministerial Staff, Director of the Discipleship Ministry, Vice President of the Prayer Warrior’s Ministry, Director of the Nurses Unit, Director and Co-Founder of the National Prayer Warrior Convention, Senior member of the Board of Presbytery, and Coordinator of the Support Ministry.  Dr. Mitchell is also the Founder and President of Word of Grace Schools of Ministry and Theology which opened in 2002.
